    Hi Nick,

Thank you for your interest in AgImage, we are aware of issues displaying all available data and are working to resolve them. In the meantime we have made adjustments to provide the most recent data (2015/2016).

    Hi Dan,

We rely on two providers for coverage of the east coast from MODIS. There is only one other station in Australia receiving VIIRS. This provider is experiencing from some technical difficulties which are restricting the coverage of their station and delaying their data and unfortunately this is beyond our control. We endeavour to get as much data over Australia as possible on a given day.

Glad to hear you love our service,

    Hi Dan,
Thanks for your feedback. We have just today added Himawari-8 imagery to the data tree in both Firewatch-Pro and Aurora. If you scroll down the list of data, you'll find both VIIRS and Himawari-8. Check out band 7 for a visual of fire hotspots as the bright white pixels. Regards, Adrian

    Hi Paul,
Thanks for your feedback. Yes good idea about including Landgate's imagery from locate. We'll add it to our to-do list of activities. Regards, Adrian

    Hi Anonymous #2,

We'll add the Locate service as a global option for all users under the "Add > Add External Service" menu in the short term. In the longer term we'll look at which layers in Locate might be useful as pre-defined options in the Overlays menu.

    Cheers,

    Keith

    Hi Anonymous,

Here's a very rough test using the wmsCsMosaic SLIP service: http://srss-dev.landgate.wa.gov.au/uwi/?app=app-lg_csmosaic

When it loads you'll be prompted for your SLIP login details.

    Hi Lynn,

Thanks for pointing out the issue with the Google watermark. We'll move it to the right-hand side.

    Cheers,

    Keith

    Hi Bruce,

Thanks for the suggestion, more than happy to look into that for you.

    To confirm:

When you refer to weather observations are you referring to these? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Station_model http://www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/html/stationplot.shtml

    Hi Tony,

We could certainly look at adding the road centrelines layer out of SLIP for you.

Are you interested in just viewing the layer or querying it as well?

    Hi,

Which particular dataset were you looking at?

If you go to the 'Active Layers' panel in the bottom left corner of the application you'll find a transparency slider that you can use to alter the degree of transparency applied to any layer.

    Regards,

    Keith

    Hi Peter,

Is there an existing publicly available source of this information that you had in mind? If someone is already publishing a web service with the information it can be included pretty easily in FireWatch.

    Regards,

    Keith

If you hold down your SHIFT key and drag you can get that functionality.

    Hi Anonymous,

You can access tools for measuring distance and area from the toolbar immediately above the map. They're just to the right of the "Place name or lat, lon" search field.

Ta Mike. We've already got an issue in Pivotal Tracker to fix this one :)
